Moses was born from the house of Levi during Israel's oppression in Egypt Exodus 2:1-2.
Yahweh spoke with him and raised him as the prophet through whom Israel received the covenant at Sinai Exodus 19:3-6 Deuteronomy 34:10.
Moses is not in the line to Jesus.
